Never before seen areas of the Falcon

Well well well, what do we have here.

I have to say I'm loving this.

As far as I can tell, this is the layout of the movie set with the added captains quarters and cape room.

speaking of never before seen, I love this...

I've always wanted to see someone actually in that bunk over the couches, and today I finally get to.

  1. At the beginning, at the top of the ramp to the left, it looks like it could be the indentation for the engineering station.

    1. heh, not to mention that there's a cut in the video when he's jumping into position. I don't think it's easy to get in there. I have so many questions about that bunk but the biggest one is just "...Why?"

  3. Hi. Long time admirer of your blog. I studied this video https://www.starwars.com/video/lando-s-falcon-behan-the-scenes on starwars.com.
Watching frame for frame as the camera pans through the port side corridor from the engine room to the main hold I count seven corridor segments in the port side corridor not five as on your illustration above. Doesn't this mean that the crew quarters then is situated farther down?

  4. Hi,

Here's a photo from the book: Solo - The Official Guide.
It seems like the captain's quarters is supposed to be where they usually draw the room with the bunks. Sorry it's not a scan. I could do that to if you'd prefer that.
